August brought exciting new features and experience upgrades across the Halda platform. From personalized brand controls to smarter search, improved email previews, and clearer SMS communication, these updates make it easier than ever to deliver seamless and on-brand student engagement.
AI Search Enhancements
Improved Accuracy
AI Search now has tighter guardrails to ensure responses pull directly from your website content. Phone/SMS agents have also been updated to consistently use AI Search when relevant, improving accuracy and consistency.
Enhanced Student Experience
Students waiting for an AI Search response will now see a visual progress checklist, making the experience more transparent and engaging.
Helpful Fallback Responses
When AI can’t find an answer, it now generates a helpful fallback response rather than the default “Sorry, I was not able to respond.”
Branding & Custom Instructions
We’ve improved how your branding guidelines and custom instructions shape AI Search’s tone and style, helping responses sound more human and on-brand.
Bot Protection with reCAPTCHA
reCAPTCHA can now be enabled on AI Search and AI Forms to reduce spam and bot traffic before it reaches your systems.
AI Email Improvements
Previews & Visibility
You can now generate comeback email previews directly inside Halda before activating triggers. We also improved the preview interface with dropdown questions and better sizing to make it easier to review emails before they go live.
Brand Consistency
Comeback emails now fully respect your Brand and Voice Guidelines, and emails sent to Salesforce now support rich text formatting to create more polished, professional messages.
AISR Configuration & Metrics
We added segments and funnel stages to the AISR email configuration and introduced a new email metrics table for better tracking and performance insights.
AI SMS & Phone
Improved Content Accuracy
Phone/SMS agents now reliably use AI Search to answer questions when relevant, improving accuracy and consistency.
AISR Hub Segmentation
You can now display Phone/SMS in the AI Hub by desired segment—removing a major blocker to AISR adoption and paving the way for future segmentation features.
AI SEO
Clearer Source Transparency
We’ve separated the URLs shown to students in AI Search results from the source URLs used to generate content. This makes it easier to see what informed the AI’s answer versus what students were served.
Rating Responses
You can provide direct feedback within AI SEO on the quality of response. For 3 star ratings and lower, you can provide additional detail as to where the response missed the mark.
Platform & Integration Updates
Global AI Custom Instructions
Partners can now provide global AI instructions—including tone preferences, verbosity, and first-person voice—alongside branding guidelines. This currently applies to AI Search and AI Response Pages.
Two-Way Webhook Integration
Halda can now receive stage data from your CRM via webhook, enabling real-time data syncing. This requires a simple IT setup.
